Privacy Policy
RecoupMRR and RecoupMRR Guard are not live yet. This site explains the planned products and runs a waitlist for each. This page describes what we collect here, why, and how to get it deleted. It covers this website only, not the future products.
Who we are
RecoupMRR is operated by Hanul Jeongbo (한울정보), a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea. Questions or requests about your data: hello@recoupmrr.com.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist
- Your email address.
- Which product you joined the waitlist for (RecoupMRR or RecoupMRR Guard). If you join both, we keep one entry for each.
- Your monthly revenue range, if you pick one. On the RecoupMRR page, if you leave it blank but changed the calculator, we fill in the range from the MRR you entered there.
- Whether you ticked "I'd pay for the first month upfront".
- On the RecoupMRR page only: the estimated monthly loss from the calculator (your MRR multiplied by the percentage you entered), only if you changed its inputs. The MRR and percentage themselves are not sent.
- How you found us: the
utm_sourceorrefvalue in the link you used, or the address of the page on another site that linked to us. - The date and time you signed up.
The loss calculator runs in your browser. Nothing you type into it is sent to us unless you join the waitlist, and then only the items above.
Visit statistics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and waitlist sign-ups, so we can see what share of visitors join. It does not use cookies. Vercel records the page visited, the referring site, filtered query parameters (such as utm_source), approximate location (country, region, city), and browser, operating system and device type. Visitors are told apart by a hash of the incoming request that is discarded after 24 hours, and we only see aggregated numbers. A sign-up is counted together with the name of the product you joined for; no email address or other waitlist data is sent with these statistics.
Technical data
Like any website, our host (Vercel) processes technical request data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. To limit automated sign-ups, the sign-up endpoint holds your IP address briefly in server memory to count requests over a 10-minute window. It is never stored with your waitlist entry or written to logs, and we do not use it to identify you.
If you email us
Mail to hello@recoupmrr.com is forwarded by our domain registrar (Porkbun) to an inbox hosted by Google. We keep the conversation only as long as needed to answer you.
Why we use it
- To email you when early access to the product you joined for opens, and for RecoupMRR, to offer the free loss diagnosis.
- To decide whether to build each product and how to price it, using revenue range, prepayment interest and loss estimates, mostly in aggregate.
- To understand which channels bring visitors (referral source and visit statistics).
We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or use it to profile you. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent when you join the waitlist, and on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used for visit statistics.
Where it is stored
- Supabase stores the waitlist database.
- Vercel hosts the site and provides the visit statistics.
These providers may process data in the United States or other countries outside your own. Access to the waitlist is limited to the people running RecoupMRR.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist entries while a product is being validated and during its early access. If we decide not to build a product, we delete that product's waitlist entries within 90 days of that decision. You can ask us to delete your entry at any time, and we will do so within 30 days. Aggregated visit statistics contain no personal details and are kept under Vercel's standard retention.
Your choices and rights
To see, correct or delete your waitlist entry, or to withdraw your consent, email hello@recoupmrr.com from the address you signed up with. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights. Under the GDPR (EU/UK) these include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Under California law (CCPA/CPRA) you can ask what we collected, ask for correction or deletion, and you will not be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it.
Children
This site is meant for business owners and is not directed at anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change what we collect, for example when the product launches, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
